Volunteer
The CAST is an inclusive volunteer group which started back in 2018. The CAST, who are supported by Newcastle College, play a key role on Newcastle Falcons and Thunder match days to help keep the game days running smoothly. The Cast Volunteers offer support services for spectators, from wayfinding, ticket scanning, running the Newcastle Rugby Foundation Flutter Match Day Draw and helping with any ticketing issues.
More importantly, the CAST is an inclusive environment for people who may be facing challenges and barriers to participation. Many of our volunteers’ experience anxiety, a lack of confidence, disabilities and loneliness before joining the CAST family.
The CAST is a supportive environment; a family.
