Rugby Camps & Little Falcons

Holiday rugby camps – what’s involved?

Our holiday rugby camps are designed to ignite passion, build skills, and create lasting memories.

From ages 6 to 17, we offer something for every young athlete. Whether your child is a complete beginner or a budding rugby star, our expert Falcons Community coaches will provide high-energy, skill-focused training across one-day sessions and even a five-day residential camps.

Keep an eye on our Facebook page and website for the latest details and ways to book.

Who is it For?

The age limits for our camps are divided by date of birth rather than age group, so a 14-year-old player is eligible until the date of their 15th birthday, and a 5-year-old will need to have turned 6 years old by the start of the camp.

Rugby camps attract boys and girls from all walks of life, some with playing experience, and some who have never played before. More experienced players will still find plenty to enjoy but may be interested in our more intensive Residential Rugby Camps, open to boys aged 13-15 and girls 12-18.

What to expect

Led by our experienced community coaches with appearances from Flacons players, our rugby camps offer an exciting and comprehensive experience for young players of all skill levels.
For our youngest participants, we provide a fun-filled introduction to rugby fundamentals, laying the groundwork for a lifelong love of the game. While the older age groups benefit from advanced skill development, focusing on core principles of attack and defence.

What about contact?

From U9’s and above, we begin to introduce young players to the contact-based games and technical skill breakdowns within managed sessions, which we believe are important for each player to develop their awareness, understanding, and decision-making abilities. Exercises such as tackle techniques, wrestling techniques, and a player’s body shape at the breakdown are important skills that introduce and prepare young players for contact, before implementing them in game-based scenarios. Player safety is always our number one priority.
