Our Disability and Inclusion Programmes

The CAST
The CAST is the face of the Foundation on match day, known for their bright blue uniforms and friendliness, the CAST is led by volunteers from all walks of life who help every aspect of the match day experience run as smoothly as possible for fans.
Established in 2018 and supported by Newcastle College, the CAST is on hand to welcome supporters, scan tickets, and sell raffle tickets which raise vital funds for the work Newcastle Rugby Foundation
Open to everyone the CAST, is the ultimate support network for people, especially for those facing barriers such as anxiety, disabilities or social isolation. We have seen students from the HITZ programme flourish in confidence, build friendships and define their own beliefs to aid them in their careers because of their involvement.

Disability Rugby
Delivered in partnership with Premiership Rugby, this programme provides individuals with learning disabilities the opportunity to access and enjoy rugby.
Activities focus on building skills and confidence, with participants tackling new challenges and competing in matches within the LD Super League.
Sessions are held every Monday at Tyneside Badminton Centre.
