What a day! Over 2,300 people joined us for the Newcastle Rugby Foundation Race Day at Hexham Racecourse on Saturday 11th October, making it the highest attendance at this fixture since 2017.
It was a fantastic celebration of community, rugby, and racing — and we couldn’t be more grateful to everyone who came along, supported, and made it such a memorable occasion.
From exciting races to our rugby fun zone and activities throughout the day, the event was packed with energy, laughter, and team spirit. Guests in hospitality also enjoyed a flutter while learning more about the Foundation’s work across the North East, raising an incredible amount to help us continue making rugby a game for everyone.
A huge thank you to Hexham Racecourse for being such incredible hosts, and to our amazing CAST volunteers who gave their time and enthusiasm to ensure everything ran smoothly — we couldn’t have done it without you!
