What started as a cheeky bid at a charity lunch has turned into a golden opportunity for one lucky supporter to enjoy a day out at the races, whilst also backing a brilliant cause in the North East.
At a recent Newcastle Rugby Foundation and Wooden Spoon Charity fundraiser, a guest enthusiastically placed a £700 bid for a hospitality experience for four at Hexham Racecourse. But after a moment of reflection, they had a change of heart. That left organisers with an empty table and a chance to turn a little raffle “oops” into something special.
Now, you’re being invited to snap up £20 raffle tickets for your chance to win this prize and help raise vital funds for life-changing rugby programmes across the region.
The lucky winner (and three guests of their choice) will enjoy:
