NEWCASTLE RUGBY FOUNDATION

Making RUGBY+ the positive difference that changes lives for good

Established in 2005, Newcastle Rugby Foundation is the charitable arm of Newcastle Red Bulls and Newcastle Thunder. But we’re not just about rugby—we strive to activate positive change within our community. We are a small and agile team, driven by a clear purpose and an unwavering determination to support those who need us most in our community.

We work with schools, community groups and forward-thinking businesses across the North East to deliver physical and educational programmes, making rugby+ the positive difference that changes lives for good. Each year we work with over 15,000 participants, partner with 30 organisations and deliver 25 projects, which are designed to boost wellbeing, grow skills, raise involvement and build belonging.

You too can make the positive difference by partnering, volunteering or donating.

Make a difference in the North East

We know that by joining forces with the right people we can make a greater impact to the community in which we live and serve. Whether you want to invest, open doors for us, become an advocate or offer your services, we know that by working together we can deliver to more people, to break cycles, barriers and create a future that at times would have seemed out of reach.
